Dear Loan Underwriters, I HATE YOU

After being in the "loan process" for about 45 days I am fed up to the point of walking into BOA and choking the idiot that is supposed to be our loan officer with his own tie. We are 1 day from closing and after 3 different checks and 3 different "gift letters" we are still having problems. "We can't count this account because you made transfer back in march" and "we cant verify that money because it wasn't made in one deposit by check" and that is just the start of the variety of hoops that we have been jumping through over this process. Mostly it has been in the last week which really makes me think highly of these people. As if they didn't know these things beforehand. The money is there, what's the problem. It is as if our money has some form of 5th grade cooties that the bank might catch or something. I get the principle, but there comes a point where taking precautions takes a backseat to being a totally inconsiderate asshole.
